Hotel Ca' D'oro Venice
Venice is not only museums, art, and history. Venice can be your sea destination too if you have enough time to spend a day at the beach. Put your bathing suit and a colorful towel in your suitcase and get ready for discovering the nearest beaches in Venice, Italy.
Venice has no beaches in the city center, but with a 20-minute ride on a vaporetto, you can easily reach Venice Lido Beach.
Venice Lido Beach is the closest beach of the city, fully equipped and clean. You can rent a couple of tanning beds and a beach umbrella, or just lay on your beach towel for free.
From our hotel, the fastest way to reach Venice Lido Beach is taking line 6 from Piazzale Roma and getting off at the last stop, called Santa Elisabetta.
Always on Venice Lido island, there’s another beach you can reach easily, taking an additional transport. Malamocco beach is a quieter place where you can take some sun, without too many people around.
Once you get off the vaporetto that takes you to Venice Lido Beach, take bus-line A. In less than 10 minutes you’ll reach Malamocco beach.
If you don’t bother to take a vaporetto for almost an hour and a half, you can reach Punta Sabbioni Beach.
This beach is situated on the West Coast of Cavallino-Treporti and it’s perfect if you’re traveling with your family or just want some peace and rest.
Departing from our hotel you have to walk until Fondamente Nuove, where the vaporetto line 12 departs. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes to get to Punta Sabbioni, but, in the main time, you can enjoy the view of the Venetian lagoon.
If you are looking for a party-beach, Lido di Jesolo is the perfect place to go. Lido di Jesolo is one of the biggest beaches in Venice, Italy. It’s mainly famous for its numerous clubs and bars where to spend the night and a cheerful happy hour.
You can choose between two ways to get to Lido di Jesolo Beach. The fastest and easiest is going to Piazzale Roma and take the ATVO bus to Jesolo. It takes about 50 minutes.
Instead, you can also take the vaporetto line 12 to Punta Sabbioni and then bus 23A to Jesolo Beach. You can also decide to stop in between, at one of the others beaches, such as Cavallino, Ca’ Savio and many others.
